marius auda - a farmer proud of his origins

Born in 1902, in the hinterland of Nice, Marius AUDA was pushed by the rural exodus and lived along many years as shepherd.
With his wife Adèle (of Pietmontese origin) they raised a family of three children; Gilbert, Robert and Félix. While the ladder prepares himself to become a lawyer, the two eldest brothers follow in their parents footsteps and make the small family enterprise that until then was living on traditional farming shift into a vegetable raising company.
In 1976, as the wives of the two brothers, Paulette and Renée, join the company, it starts turning into specialized farming of marrow flowers, a specialty from Nice, and gradually and naturally more and more into aromatic plants and salad shoots.
Whilst Marius and Adèle are long gone, they succeeded in passing on their children and grand-children their cultural patrimony and their passion for their trade.

Marius Auda - packaging Obeying the sharps requirements expressed by our customers we have adapted a complete range of packaging. Our products are either available as ready to use products or fresh products. Aromatics herbs are presented in filmed plastic boxes from 15, 30 to 60 grams and salad shoots in bags from 100 to 200 grams.

The products range of Marius AUDA benefits of a guarantee of its varieties, a strict cultivation control; the production is under control at each step of the process. Herbs and salads are packed on the place of the crop. Thanks to their packages Marius AUDA's products period of living go from 10 to 13 days.
